Silk Foil is a stencil lacquer print that allows you to get a metallized relief image.
It is carried out as follows. A varnish that become sticky when heated and hardening under the action of UV light is applied to the material. Then using a press a special foil is stamped on it.
By adjusting the thickness of the lacquer and using different stencil forms, you can change the height and thickness of the lay. Screen printing lacquer has a high resolution and allows you to get the line thickness to tenths of a millimeter.
One of the advantages of this technology is the ability to print on an expanded range of materials: paper, cardboard, polymers, self-adhesive films, textiles.
Silk Foil is a good alternative to hot and cold foil embossing.
