Belgian Hybrid Software announced the commercial release of Variable Data Printing (VDP) for its PACKZ PDF editor, the Cloudflow workflow suite, Stepz software package and some more interesting software printing solutions during the Labelexpo 2019 and FachPack 2019. All this software equipment will be used for digital and flexographic printing.
First, Variable Data Printing (VDP). It can be used by customers to turn an available PDF file into a VDP design. To do that, all you need is to indicate elements which are dynamic and after that link them to a data source. Elements can include text, bar codes, colours etc. Variable Data Printing will show you all the iterations of the design and find a special tool in order to inspect the quality level. This tool is included for all users of PACKZ 5.0 and higher. Once all the preparations are finished, the VDP Execute module will give you a fully manufactured PDF file ready for digital or flexographic printing. This software instrument, VDP Execute, is available not only for PACKZ, but also for Cloudflow. However, the price for each of them would be a bit different.
Second, new upgrade PACKZ software program. Actually, PACKZ is accepted as the best packaging PDF editor available today. The new software module was designed to edit PDF-format packaging and labels. The creators of the PACKZ program say they have made the process of using the new module much more comfortable. Besides, now you can print variable data which made the new PACKZ a way better decision for your printing workflow. The new software module – Packz includes: colour management, bar codes, trapping, step and repeat, shrink sleeve pre-distortion and some more functions.

At client’s request, Stepz can be customized for the capabilities and requirements of different digital presses and finishing equipment. The new program also includes nested step and repeats for folding carton work, plus full VDP functionality for variable barcodes and text on any label or package wanted.
Fourth, Tectonics application. Tectonics is believed to be applied while quality-assurance preparation before the printing runs. It is called to reduce waste and save the materials used when printing.
Finally, the world new driver system called Cloudflow. It can be combined with HP Indigo, Xeikon, and Domino. Apart from that, you can find out that Cloudflow RIP is one more promising software solution with calibration capability and NPC support. A set of Cloudflow plugins is now also available for the users. Its aim is to simplify the process control operations managed from the desktop or from Adobe Illustrator or PACKZ.
